Happy October! LA weather hasn’t quite decided to adjust to fall standards yet, but everyday gets a bit cooler and crisper. I can’t wait to wear chunky cashmere sweaters and suede boots. I just bought this over the knee pair and can’t get enough of them. I initially thought thigh-high boots would be difficult to style (tugging them over pants is not so fun) but I’ve found that my favorite transitional fall look is with a flouncy skater skirt and light sweater. This one is vintage Bottega Veneta – it is my Mom’s from 1984!
I love a good skater skirt for autumn. It feels dressy, appropriate for the season and a welcome change from summer shorts. Rich tones like navy, burgundy and green are my favorite – below are some more options. Which would you wear?
