Happy Monday everyone! I thought I’d start this week’s postings with a fun day to night look. When I spotted this black romper (on sale now) while shopping, it was pretty much love at first sight. Easy fit, sweet bow detail in the back, adjustable straps and a comfortable cinched waist. My first thought was, “Finally something easy to wear day and night.”
The romper’s shape and color is basic and versatile, so for a casual day look, I added a bright pop of color. I love this printed scarf by new designer Anna Coroneo – highly recommend you check out her line (it’s not available online yet, but her full line is stocked at Bloomingales). Sandals and a big bag are a given. When evening hits, I like the simplicity of a black and nude color palette. Replace the tote with a clutch, swap out your shoes and add a statement jewelry piece – that’s it!
On a side note, how fun is the bright pink lip color I’m wearing in these photos? It’s the YSL “Rouge Pur” lip stain that lasts for hours – I’ve read about it in countless magazines and finally gave it a try. Definitely a new favorite.
Hope you had a relaxing weekend! I spent mine finally getting some sleep, conquering a 6-mile hike in Malibu with a girlfriend and catching up with Devon from Devon Rachel over dinner tonight. Wonderful end to the week 🙂
