Whoever said horizontal stripes weren’t flattering hasn’t tried on this draped striped dress by Bailey44- it’s all about the cut and wrap of the fabric. The folds in this dress hug all the right places and it’s appropriate for anything from an office meeting (add a blazer and pumps) to a cocktail party (lose the jacket, substitute for open-toed shoes). Bailey44 also makes this super soft black-and-white stripe in a similar wrap top and skirt version.

My close blogger friend Sazan and I found this charming little store front just off the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood for these photos after a relaxing late lunch at our favorite place Caffe Primo – doesn’t it remind you of a Parisian corner? Perfect for black and white stripes.
