I’ve been wearing C&C California‘s classic cotton tanks for years. I still have a grey one from the beginning of high school that I refuse to toss despite the couple holes that have emerged after about a thousand washes. So many tanks lose their softness after multiple wears but I love that C&C’s hold their shape and feel. The label epitomizes the easy Southern California culture of casual comfort that I grew up in, so I am excited to participate in the label’s Coast to Coast Cool contest, representing my hometown of LA! A handful of bloggers will style handpicked pieces from the Holiday collection, infusing them with their personal style.

This is the first of two looks. This sequined top is festive and holiday-appropriate, yet still so comfortable (it is made of C&C cotton, after all). I dressed it up with a cozy skirt and couldn’t help adding more sparkle with the shoes. It’s December – why not?

I bought this tassel necklace after falling in love with the 1920’s art deco inspired Rachel Zoe necklace she wore to Lucky FABB during NYFW. Hers is gorgeous, but at a steep price, so I was thrilled to find a similar version at Henri Bendel.
