You know those occasions where you think, “I want to where something that makes a statement, but doesn’t too hard”? This black lace-up dress (on major sale now) is my perfect physical manifestation of that idea. It’s black, it’s discreetly flattering in all the right places, it swirls and flows romantically behind you as you walk.. yet it’s not so in-your-face, trying too hard. I could go on and on about why I love it, but I’ll let you see for yourself! It fits true to size and is the perfect LBD for any occasion. Higher in the front and longer in the back is my new favorite dress shape; it’s so playful yet still a little conservative. I paired it with my gold strap sandals I’ve worn with everything lately.

(On another note, I’ve been searching far and wide for the perfect liquid liner and I’ve found it in this one – I used it here and it’s been a staple in my bag since. It has an easy felt tip and the right size pen to hold easily. I paired it here with this lipstick in Spiced Rose.)
