The kitchen is the heart of the home…

Who remembers what our kitchen used to look like?  We bought our home in late 2019 and spent 2020 renovating it – took down walls, redid flooring, opened up the whole backyard side with bifold glass doors, added beams to the ceiling, smooth plastered the exterior & entirely redid the landscaping. Overall, our renovation took it from a bit darker and dated feeling to a brighter and more natural feeling space that I love. I especially love the way our kitchen turned out. I wanted the space to feel light and airy, a place that was inspiring to cook. I can’t resist a bright white kitchen – it’s timeless and never goes out of style. Incorporating some lighter wood tones, exposed shelving and gold accents helped make the kitchen feel inviting and natural.
