My Go-To Healthy Smoothie Recipe

My favorite post workout snack…

I love smoothies because they are not only delicious, but a great way to sneak in some extra protein and greens! You could easily add anything you like to this recipe – sometimes I’ll top with some chia or hemp seeds or throw in some spinach. Lately, I’ve been adding a few mineral drops (magnesium, silica, trace minerals) which taste terrible so it’s a great way to disguise them. My Ritual protein is already on the sweeter side, so you may not need the whole banana, but here’s my easy go-to healthy smoothie recipe:

Smoothie Recipe (serves 2)

2 cups frozen blueberries
1 1/2 cups coconut water
2 spoonfuls yogurt (I use Cocoyo)
1 banana (regular or frozen)
2 scoops protein powder (I use Ritual)
Large spoonful almond butter
Granola to top (I use Purely Elizabeth)
