Easy Rose-Tone Makeup

All the universally flattering rose toned products you need for this look on sale for Afterpay Day.

We’re all cooped up in our homes during this crazy quarantine time, but I’ve made a pact with myself to get dressed and ready every single day. Doesn’t sound like much of accomplishment, does it? Until you try it – getting out of sweatpants and spending 10 minutes playing around with makeup makes the biggest difference in my mood. It creates a tangible mental shift. Try it and report back, I promise. Even if your dog is the only person you’re seeing tonight!

I created this spring makeup look (tutorial now live on my Instagram feed) using universally flattering rose tones – they’re my absolute go to for a pretty daytime eye. I first prepped the skin with Tata Harper Illuminating Moisturizer and Illuminating Eye Cream first, and used my Vanity Planet cold wand to iron out the puffiness I keep waking up with this week. All the makeup products I used for this look are from Laura Mercier and BareMinerals, two of my favorite brands – and the great thing is they’re partnered with Afterpay and are  on sale today as part of Afterpay Day – their bi-annual sale offering deals and promotions with thousands of brands and retailers.

If you’re not yet familiar, Afterpay is a service that allows you to pay for products using four interest free installments. It’s a super easy, convenient way to shop and plan your purchases. Today, thousands of retailers are participating in the sale – find all your favorite clothing and beauty brands like Revolve, APL, Schutz, Re/Done and more on major sale by visiting their site at Show me what you find! You know I’ll be on my couch tonight.

Here’s a breakdown of the products I used:

Vanity Planet Forever Young Wand

Tata Harper Illuminating Moisturizer

BareMinerals Gen Nude Eyeshadow Palette

Laura Mercier Nude Nouveau Lipstick

Laura Mercier Baby Lips Liner

Laura Mercier Bronze 03

This post is in partnership with Afterpay. As always, all opinions are my own.
