I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve worn ballet flats on this blog. Really though – I wear them during the day (usually flat boots or a clean white sneaker), but when putting together my favorite looks for the blog or going out at night, I always reach for a heel for extra height. A grey trench coat is perfect for staying comfortable walking around the city and call for a ballet flat. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen photos from the Spirit Awards this weekend – I’ve been in heels nonstop and this outfit will be on repeat this week.

Chloe ballet flats are just too sweet and the blush color matches anything. I love the scalloped edges and the way the leather forms to your foot. They’re seriously the most comfortable flats I’ve owned! I’ve also been looking for some more comfortable boots to wear for daytime and Lyst has a great selection.

There are so many pretty white shorts on the market now for spring. My favorites are these bow-tie shorts (and they’re $88!), this lace pair and these delicately draped shorts. If you wear a slightly higher waisted pair, your legs will look a little longer in ballet flats (I’m always thinking of this). Hope you all had a lovely weekend! x
