I’ve been using Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20  since high school (haven’t we all?) and she makes my favorite eye base, so I was more than game to test out the new Silk Crème Moisturizing Foundation.

It comes in two formulas: oil-free and moisturizing. I have normal skin but it’s sensitive to seasons (drier in winter, oiler in summer) so I could see myself using both formulas. The moisturizing formula is perfect for winter months. If you haven’t tried the line before, keep in mind that the shades are more yellow based than pink. “Bamboo Beige” was perfect for my skin tone. It’s easy to blend, buildable, and has a bit of a cream-to-powder finish once set.

I also tried her Caviar Stick Eye Colours and I can’t believe I haven’t used these before! I tend to stick to powder eye shadows, but the creamy sticks are foolproof (especially in lighter, champagne tones like Rose Gold or Moonlight). They’re also so much easier to travel with than powder colors since they’re space conscious and won’t crack. Win win! I blended the Moonlight shade into my lash line instead of using my usual liner, and the effect was softer

My go-to lip color is always a nude-pink (surprise, surprise) and her Crème Smooth Lip Color in Lychee Parfait is the perfect complement to any daytime look. I lined my lips with the Lip Pencil in Naked and it kept the color in tact for hours.
