When I walked into the BCBG showroom to choose a dress to wear for the runway show, I saw this pleated chartreuse gown on a mannequin and knew it was the one. The lace detailing on the front and back, accordion pleats and sunny color stood out. No matter that it was 20 degrees with slushy black snow is shoved up against every street curb – I was determined to make it work!
The back of the dress has a gorgeous sheer lace panel as well. I wish I had more photos to do it justice but NYC is so cold – just taking off my coat for these snaps was difficult! Now that I’m black in warm Los Angeles I’m planning on wearing this again to spring events with gladiator sandals or lace up heels. Also loving the black quilted jacket – this will match everything, day or night! What do you think?
