This week’s featured fashion star writes a blog unlike one I’ve ever come across before. Meet Cathy Anderson, founder of Poor Little It Girl, a site dedicated to the most fabulous style finds under $100. It’s a tough promise to keep in a market full of Wang and Lim, but Cathy’s blog is always readily updated with chic clothes and accessories that won’t break your bank. Her style is feminine, colorful and vibrant, and she doesn’t run from patterns and prints. Coming from a New York City fashion editor background, Cathy’s experience in the industry and natural talent for style culminate in fun shopping spreads and beautiful outfit posts. It may have been her savvy spend-versus-save skills that first sparked my interest, but I come back to visit Poor Little It Girl for Cathy’s witty and friendly voice and genuine likeability (and a great pair of affordable shoes).
