Friday Five: Danielle Audain

indie.electronic.alternative is a creative blog written by Danielle Audain. It mixes style with Danielle’s current favorite music tracks, a unique way to merge the line between aesthetics and sound. Thanks to her mile-long model legs and beautiful face, it’d be easy to pull off any look, but Danielle is the best example of a girl who owns her style and as she says, “breaks fashion boundaries.” She’s funny, feisty and warm, and reminds me of that unfairly “cool” girl we all know with a killer style that’s simply unattainable without the personality to match.

We first met at an event for rewardStyle and ASOS during NYFW and quickly bonded over her amazing Rocco Wang bag. I now read her blog often for fashion inspiration I can’t find on the streets of Los Angeles. As queen of the overly colorful and distinctly feminine (with a penchant for bows and sparkle), I am often surprised at how much I adore Danielle’s cool downtown mix and match style. I find myself wanting to incorporate a fringe here and a dash of leather there, and hunt down some of her unique jewelry. In addition to my closet, my iTunes library is also sporting a makeover, thanks to this lovely lady.
