NYFW: Charlotte Ronson S/S '13

My favorite NYFW experience was the Charlotte Ronson Spring/Summer ’13 show, held in the Lincoln Center tents. Charlotte Ronson is known for her relaxed chic sense of style and glowing makeup to match, and the collection was no disappointment. Her designs were young and colorful, often featuring bursts of color or a cropped top. Pieces with a sophisticated leather touch or ladylike belt helped ground the collection. I was also glad that the show confirmed one of my favorite trends, peplum, is still here to stay throughout the next season.

Chatting with none other than Brad Goreski outside the tents. He was so sweet and funny, and dressed to perfection in a tweed jacket, bowtie, and studded clutch.

The show’s music was provided by none other than Charlotte’s DJ sister Samantha Ronson, and the crowd was a top-notch combination of editors and celebrities. I noted Who What Wear’s Hillary Kerr in the front row, along with Rachel Zoe and husband Rodger Berman, and Paris Hilton seated nearby.

I loved sharing the night with one of my favorite bloggers, the lovely Kat from With Love from, Kat. After the show, we ducked into a cab and headed to the STK rooftop for appetizers and a gorgeous view, a delicious dinner at Catch, and then the Charlotte Ronson after party on the roof of the Empire Hotel. I wore a dress by Phillip Lim, my Prada Saffiano Lux tote and Yves Saint Laurent Tribute sandals.

Thank you to Just Fab for this incredible experience! Do you like Charlotte’s designs? I’d love to hear in the comments below. For more NYFW fun, follow my Instagram (sophieelkus) and Facebook page.
