Sometimes less is more, but I love a good embellished piece, especially for the fall season. Embellishments were all over the runway at the Target show – jackets with studded shoulders, printed and textured pants, and jeweled shoes and bags. I put together this look inspired by the trend. It’s all in the details: I love the brocade pattern on the skirt and the feminine peplum waist, the ruffles and bow on my blouse, and the perforations in my lace-up shoes.

Target keeps turning out more embellished jewelry and accessories – inexpensive and easy to mix. Wear a statement necklace over your collar or try a boot with buckles or studs. The smallest details make a big impact!
